Extract Instrument Parts from a Score Online
No software to download. No notation file required. Upload a score PDF in your browser, and Unscore Me generates a separate part PDF for each instrument.
Works in your browser, on any device
Unscore Me is a fully web-based tool. There is nothing to install - open the site, upload your PDF, and you're done. It works on Mac, Windows, Linux, and (for reviewing results) mobile. The heavy processing happens server-side, so your machine doesn't need to be powerful.
It supports any ensemble size: a string quartet, a chamber orchestra, a full symphony, a choir, a wind band. If the score has standard notation laid out in staff systems, Unscore Me can detect and split it.
How it works
- Upload your score PDF. Drag and drop or click to browse. The file is sent for processing - staff systems are detected automatically across every page.
- Label instruments in the segment editor. Click on each detected row and type the instrument name. Drag boundaries to fix any detection errors.
- Download your parts. Each instrument gets its own PDF. Or use the ZIP download to grab everything at once.
Common use cases

Extract a single instrument's line from a score for analysis, ear training, or student performance.
Generate parts from your own typeset score without waiting for notation software's part extraction workflow.
Digitize a scanned score and produce usable parts without re-entering the music.

- Any ensemble: string quartet, chamber ensemble, symphony orchestra, wind band, choir with piano. If the score has clearly notated staff systems, Unscore Me can process it.
