Plans & pricing

Every plan offers the same part extraction process: automatic staff-system detection, the full segment editor, and clean per-instrument PDFs with no watermarks. What separates the plans is how many scores you can take away, how large they can be, and how long we hold on to them. You can upload a score and work through it in the editor before paying anything, so you can see how the detection handles your scores, not our demo ones, before you decide.

How usage is counted

Plans are measured in downloads, not uploads. Uploading a score, running the detection, dragging system boundaries around in the editor and regenerating the parts are all unmetered. You can put as many scores through the pipeline as you like, and you only spend quota when you take the finished parts away.

A score counts once, the first time you download anything from it. Re-downloading it later never counts again, whether that is a single part or the whole ZIP. So if you spot a mislabelled horn part a week later, fixing the label and pulling a corrected copy costs you nothing.

One limit works differently. Trial accounts can process scores of up to 60 pages, and a longer score is turned away when you upload it rather than after you have worked on it, so you never lose time in the editor to a file that was never going to go through. Standard and Pro have no page limit at all. This is the only cap that applies before you download anything, and it is there to bound processing cost rather than to meter what you get.

Standard and Pro use a rolling seven-day window rather than a calendar month. Each download frees up again exactly seven days after you made it, so a heavy week of preparation does not leave you locked out waiting for the first of the month. The Trial plan works differently: its five downloads are a lifetime allowance and do not reset.

Retention, and what it means

Retention is how long we keep your uploaded score and its generated parts before deleting them automatically: 48 hours on Trial, 30 days on Standard, 90 days on Pro. Within that window you can come back, re-open the editor, adjust the segmentation and regenerate as often as you want, at no cost to your quota.

After it expires, the files are gone and the score has to be uploaded again. This is deliberate: Unscore Me is a processing tool, not a hosting service, and we would rather not sit on a permanent archive of other people's sheet music. Download your parts and keep them somewhere you control.

Included in every plan

  • Automatic staff-system detection across every page, including cross-page regrouping
  • Grand-staff detection, so piano and keyboard parts stay together
  • The full segment editor, with draggable boundaries, margin handles, relabelling and undo
  • Per-instrument PDFs with title headers and page footers
  • Download parts individually or as a single ZIP
  • No watermarks on output, on any plan, including the trial
  • Runs in the browser, so there is no notation software to buy and nothing to install, on any operating system

Billing questions

Do I have to pay to try it?
No. Uploading, processing and editing need no account and cost nothing. An account is only required to download the finished parts, and a free trial account includes five downloads so you can judge the output on your own material first.
What happens when my trial downloads run out?
Scores you have already downloaded stay downloadable for the rest of their retention window, since re-downloading never counts again. New scores will need a paid plan.
What if my score is longer than 60 pages?
That limit applies to the trial only. Standard and Pro have no page limit. On trial, a longer score is refused at upload rather than part way through, so you find out before doing any work. Sixty pages covers most full orchestral scores and individual movements.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. You can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date, no questions asked. See the terms for the details.
Who handles payment?
Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for every transaction. They process the payment and collect whatever VAT or sales tax applies where you live, which is why the final total may differ from the headline price. Unscore Me never receives or stores your card details.
Is there a monthly plan?
No, both paid plans are billed yearly. Part preparation tends to follow a concert season rather than a calendar month, and an annual plan comes out cheaper than the equivalent monthly billing would.
Can I switch plans?
Upgrading from Standard to Pro takes effect immediately, and you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
